Our worship is governed by the Regulative Principle which means that we worship only in a form sanctioned by the Lord in his word and we reject the use of unscriptural methods and man-centered innovations in God's worship.

Our worship time consists of the preaching of God's word (being the chief means of grace), prayer and the singing of psalms. It is our firm belief that the preaching of God's word is the function of lawfully called and ordained ministers only and therefore we reject lay-preaching and the "every-man-ministry" so prevalent in the church world today. Our needs in this regard are met by the live preaching of Rev Martyn McGeown, sent by the Covenant Protestant Reformed Church (CPRC), Ballymena, Northern Ireland to be our missionary.

We are comitted to the use of Creeds which faithfully outline the teachings of the bible. These creeds in no way supplant the authority of scripture but are rather clear summaries of the core Christian doctrines as taught in God's Word. The official creeds used by the Limerick Reformed Fellowship are the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession and the Canons of Dort, known collectively as the Three Forms of Unity.

We also hold to the singing of the inspired, God breathed Psalms (Col 3:16, Eph 5:18,19) as opposed to the singing of uninspired compositions - no matter how pious they may seem - and to this end we use the Scottish Metrical Version (1650) of the Psalter. Here is a link to an audio debate on the subject of Exclusive Psalmody.

These weekly meeting are open to all. Should you have an interest in attending please contact Terry Casey (see bottom left of page for contact details).

Regular catechism classes for children as well as mid-week bible studies are planned to commence in September (more information will follow).
